Dr. Jeffrey Morse
DNP, LHIT, RN, CCM
Dr. Morse has an extensive background in adult critical care nursing, emergency department and hospital case management, utilization review, utilization management, and care coordination spanning over 28 years. He obtained a bachelor of science in nursing in 1998 from the University of Michigan. In 2020, he obtained a doctorate in nursing practice nursing informatics specialty (DNP) along with a graduate certificate in leadership health information technology (LHIT). He is also board certified in case management. One of his many passions, is improving patient and population health outcomes.
His career in healthcare informatics consulting has primarily focused on using clinical and operational data to improve patient care and processes. He has contributed to several projects as an informatics subject matter expert (SME) as well as other capacities. He is passionate about developing healthcare consumer facing applications.
In 2023, he took on an additional Role as a Lecturer with a University School of Nursing. In this capacity, he has taught undergraduate informatics and case management courses, as well as graduate research courses. Teaching allows him to share his knowledge, skills, experience, and enthusiasm with the next generation of nurses from various specialties.
